It is now obvious that top members of the Peoples Democratic Party are battling some serious political storms on different fronts, all in a bid to occupy higher leadership positions come 2015. The Senate Leader Victor Ndoma-Egba (SAN) has described his alleged suspension from the Cross River State chapter of the PDP as
mere comedy by those in his party who are after his seat in the upper chamber.
Ndoma-Egba, while reacting to the development in Abuja on Friday, said he's yet to be officially notified of the purported suspension.
Speaking to journalists, he said: "The alleged move by the Cross River State chapter of the party to suspend me will amount to nothing.
“I have heard the rumour; I don’t believe that the state chapter of the PDP will display such crass ignorance, if they did, then, it is a pity and quite unfortunate. It is a comedy of very frustrated people, as far as I am concerned.”
